Often, the suppressed emotion is the very cause of the physical symptoms. For example, prolonged anxiety, grief, or anger that is not expressed or processed can create blockages in the body’s vital energy, which may eventually manifest as problems such as headaches, digestive issues, or skin conditions.

It is not uncommon for a homeopath to seek out emotional traumas or experiences that may be linked to the current illness. By treating these traumas holistically with the appropriate homeopathic remedy, we can sometimes achieve a healing effect on both physical and emotional levels.
